A nepali youth died
in a fire in Minnesota in the
United States, local media
reported.
A person was found dead in an
appartment on Balcerzak Drive in
the city of Mankato where a fire
broke out on Monday. The victim
was later identified as Ayush
Bhattarai, 21, from Nepal.
An autopsy showed that the
former student of Minnesota
State University (MSU) died of
carbon monoxide poisoning due
to smoke inhalation.
According to a report, Mankato
Department of Public Safety
officials ruled out any sign of foul
play but an investigation into
the death is underway.
Bhattarai apparently attended
the MSU for two semesters--in
the spring and fall of 2009.
No further details about the
victim could be known.
